Hepatitis C is a blood disease that affects the liver. There is a tx that I am now on which is a mixture of "interferon" injections 1x a week and 1200mg in pill form of "Ribavirin" dailly. This is an extreme and rigorous 48 week treatment and I have started september 22nd 2006

Side Effects



My throat hurts and has hurt for sometime

Its not a cold-just a side effect

My eyes are heavy-they have been heavy for sometime

Its another side effect

My muscles ache-they've ached for sometime

thats another side effect

I'm tired still-I've been tired for sometime

another lovely side effect

I feel your pain. Literally, I just did injection #8 and I feel like a 10-ton truck ran over me. The throat, the eyes, the joint pains, my knees feel like mush. Hang in there, you are not alone and actually, if that's a picture of you, you look better than I feel!
